Akin PTO - Thank you so much for the many things you have done for Staff Appreciation Week! The meals, the drinks, and the gift bags. Thank you for all that you do to support our school, students and staff. You are wonderful!
We would like to Congratulate Caleb Carlton on breaking the school record in the 1600m Run with a time of 5:18. The school record was 5:23 which had not been broken in 10 years. Caleb also qualified for State which will be held on May 11th @ Duquoin. We want to wish him all the best at State!! Great Job!!
Reminder: Sports Banquet is on May 2nd @ 6 pm. Hope to see all our athletes and their families to honor all their accomplishments.

Regional Track Meet @ Mt. Vernon on May 1st, 9:30 am. We want to wish out Track Team Good Luck!!
We would like to Congratulate the Akin Track Team on breaking a school record in the 4x400 Relay. School record was 4:35:00 and our boys ran it in 4:34:00. Great Job Boys!!
